With a compassionate approach and desire to empower her clients to achieve healthier relationships, Rachel is dedicated to guiding children, families, and parents through many of life’s challenges. Rachel received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She specialized in Latino/a Mental Health, and has worked with children and families since completing her degree. As a licensed professional counselor with a focus on child and family therapies, parent support, and trauma-focused care, Rachel offers a safe and supportive space for growth and healing.

Rachel’s expertise lies in helping clients in adolescence and late childhood to navigate emotional and behavioral difficulties, while also empowering parents with strategies to foster healthy relationships and resilient family dynamics. Rachel provides sessions for parents to address and overcome specific parenting barriers, and guides them to achieve a healthier parenting approach. Rachel provides trauma-focused services, such as TF-CBT, to assist individuals in processing and overcoming past experiences to build a brighter, more hopeful future. She also has experiences working with sexually abusive teenage behaviors, and works to empower families to strengthen their safety and health in their relationships.

Every session is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring personalized and effective support. With a deep understanding of developmental and familial needs, Rachel is committed to fostering positive change and emotional well-being for clients of all ages.
