Specialized Mental Health Care for Children, Teens, and Families

We are a pediatric mental health practice dedicated to helping children, teens, and families. Our clinicians have specialized training in child development and children’s mental health, and our care is trauma-informed, family-centered, and grounded in evidence-based treatment.

Our therapists help children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression and mood concerns, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, and emotional or behavioral challenges. We also support foster and adoptive families and children experiencing attachment or relationship difficulties.

Whether your child is struggling with worry, impulsivity, defiance, difficult experiences, or intense emotions, our team can help your family understand what is happening, develop practical skills, strengthen relationships, and find more shared joy.

When Should You Consider Therapy for Your Child?

Children and teens may benefit from therapy when emotional or behavioral challenges begin affecting life at home, at school, or in relationships. Signs that your child may need additional support include:

  • Frequent anger, defiance, aggression, or intense emotional outbursts
  • Hyperactivity, impulsivity, difficulty concentrating, or problems at school
  • Persistent worry, fear, sadness, irritability, or low self-esteem
  • Withdrawal, friendship difficulties, or changes in usual behavior
  • Difficulty coping with trauma, grief, family changes, foster care, or adoption

It can be difficult to know whether your child is going through a temporary phase or needs additional support. Our team can help you understand your child’s needs and determine whether therapy may be beneficial.
